Social 8 commenced operation in 2005 and has been going strong ever since. Robyn Kosmider founded Social 8 after recognising a lack of opportunities to meet business and professional single people existed. She retired from her previous two business', owning and managing a locum service and director of one of Adelaide's first internet cafes to focus upon this opportunity. The business rapidly grew after enjoying very quick success resulting in a steady growth in clients being referred to her by successful members. Late 2006 saw the business grow beyond Robyn's ability to run it solo and so a partnership was offered to Jane Donovan. Jane had enjoyed a career in the entertainment industry since 1985 where she produced entertainment, choreographed and cast singers, dancers, actors and variety performers in roles within live corporate, television, theatre and sports entertainment.

Robyn and Jane are passionate about Social 8 and the opportunity to help people to meet new single people in a relaxed environment. What they offer is unique to Adelaide and something both of them are very proud to be associated with.
